Our EcoTreks

At Wild Nature Trips, every trek is a responsible immersion
into the heart of the Sumatran jungle.

Our adventures are designed to explore, understand, and protect Gunung Leuser National Park, while supporting the local communities who are its guardians.

There's something for everyone with 3 types of eco-treks:

Forest & Conservation Immersion,

Wild Expedition,

and Jungle Discovery

With a focus on ecology and nature conservation,

ALL OUR TREKS ARE ZERO WASTE and PLASTIC-FREE!

And that's unique in Bukit Lawang 😉

All our treks are perfect for a first immersion in the tropical jungle:

observing orangutans, discovering lush flora,

spending nights camping under the stars,

and a fun return trip on inner tubes down the river.

A good level of fitness is necessary for hiking in the jungle,

but you don't need to be a marathon runner.
Our guides adapt the pace and routes to your fitness level,

ensuring an accessible and enjoyable experience.
Even children do very well!

All our treks take place in small groups,
in order to limit our impact on the flora and fauna
,

while increasing the chances of observing animals in a way that

respects their natural environment.
